Regional Learning and Development Consultant

Activities / Main Duties:

 

  • Responsible for the delivery of training solutions within Just Mortgages that facilitates and improves colleague performance in both sales and customer experience.
  • Conduct face to face and virtual training sessions on products, processes, systems, and industry regulations.
  • Tailor training solutions to varying experience levels, from new advisers to senior staff.
  • Be actively involved in all elements of the training cycle with particular emphasis on evaluation and embedding of learning
  • Coach new and experienced Mortgage Advisers to improve sales performance, conversion rates, and customer service skills.
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and feedback to our Mortgage Advisers on best practices for client interactions.
  • Analyse performance metrics to identify gaps in knowledge and recommend targeted training
  • Partner with regional managers, operations, and compliance teams to align training with business objectives.
  • Gather feedback from participants and management to improve training effectiveness.
  • Proactively manage your own diary allowing for sufficient time for preparation, design, delivery and evaluation of learning interventions.

Main purpose of the role

The job holder is responsible for providing best in class training design and delivery to all colleagues within Just Mortgages.

 

The job provides support for the business through delivery and development or training and management of all colleagues in line with our strategy.

 

You will work closely with senior business stakeholders to provide localised learning and development solutions in line with current needs and changes within the industry and business model.

 

Learning is an integral part of the success of Just Mortgages and as such, all the Learning and Development team are well respected within our Business.

 

Role specific competencies:

 

Business experience, a minimum of 3 years in a Financial Services business.

CIPD qualification in Learning and Development, preferred but not essential as full training will be given at Just Mortgages

Be able to analyse business data and make strong recommendations to Senior Stakeholders where learning interventions will support a positive change in business outcomes

Must be prepared to travel.

Adaptable and flexible to changing regulatory or business requirements.

Patient and approachable, with a genuine interest in helping others succeed.

Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.

 

The Finer Details
We are currently conducting some interviews using video software. To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you will need:

  1. Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  2. We’ll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of:
  • Passport/Birth Certificate

We will also need
